Janet S. Sherry has been a Certified Financial Planner professional since 1988, having met several education, examination, experience and ethic requirements including multiple securities and state insurance licenses. She is a Summa Cum Laude and Phi Betta Kappa graduate of Boston College earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics in 1979. Her professional background includes working for the Federal Reserve Bank, the Bank of New York, Edward Jones Investments, Securities America, New England Securities, and multiple realtor positions. During her 25 year financial services career, Janet has worked with hundreds of individuals, families and businesses. She has advised them on a wide variety of wealth management strategies, including retirement accumulation and distribution planning, insurance, tax strategies and estate conservation strategies.
Janet resides in Point Pleasant Beach with her husband Chris. She is active as a community volunteer for the Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties as well as various local cancer support organizations. When she isn’t spending time with her three grown children, family and friends, Janet enjoys the beach, swimming, biking, walking, pilates and Zumba workouts.
