My interest in financial planning began early, influenced by my father, who was a CPA and encouraged me to pursue the Certified Financial Planner designation after college. I found the coursework both engaging and practical, as it addressed many aspects of financial well-being. From that point on, I was drawn to helping others better understand and navigate their financial lives.
I have been in the financial services industry for over 30 years, with experience at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Bank of New York, Edward Jones Investments, Securities America, and New England Securities, as well as in real estate. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals, families, and business owners on wealth management, retirement planning, insurance, tax strategies, and estate conservation.
What I find most rewarding is helping clients solve real, often complex, financial challenges. Each client’s situation is unique, and I focus on simplifying complexities, clearly explaining available options, and guiding clients through implementation. I am committed to being responsive and ensuring that clients feel informed and confident in their decisions.
I specialize in retirement accumulation and distribution planning, including insurance and estate planning. These areas often require careful coordination, and I work closely with clients to ensure all aspects of their financial plan are aligned.
I graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, earning Summa Cum Laude honors and Phi Beta Kappa distinction. I reside in Point Pleasant Beach with my husband, Chris. We have three grown children and six grandchildren in Buffalo, Dallas, and Silver Spring, Maryland, and we enjoy traveling to spend time with them. I am active in the Women’s Club of Point Pleasant Beach and St. Peter’s Church. In my free time, I enjoy the beach, swimming, biking, walking, Pilates, yoga, and strength training.
