Richard S. Berger offers over 35 years of experience working in the advanced markets arena, including 24 year as Managing Partner of Creative Financial Group (formerly Berger Financial Group). Rich focuses on the business succession and estate conservation needs of business owners, professionals, and the affluent. He aids them in developing strategies that are designed to build wealth while preserving their financial lifestyle and minimizing the tax burdens. Rich earned his law degree in 1976 from the University of Akron, following his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Boston University.
As an active community leader, Rich has been president of the Monmouth/Ocean County Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professional, the Estate Financial Planning Council of Central New Jersey, as well Temple Beth Miriam. He is also a member of the Monmouth Bar Association, the Association of Advanced Life Underwriter and serves on the board of the Monmouth Medical Center Health Care Foundation after having served as Treasurer for three years.
Rich resides in Farmingdale with his wife Cyndi. They have 2 adult children Judson and Meghan. Rich enjoys playing golf and skiing in his free time, depending on the season.
